But the main source of Pokemon content for me as a kid was a giant container of obviously bootlegged, free-for-all pencil toppers that was sitting right behind the counter. Lychee Tree had some legitimate Pokemon merchandise, like tiny, literally palm-sized coloring books and some of the reversible Poke Ball plushies such as Sandshrew and Poliwhirl. When I was a kid, there was this dollar store near me called Lychee Tree I got the vast majority of my Pokemon toys from either there or a now-closed shop called Trendy in the early 2000's.
